it’s going to take supreme effort and attitude by our team to beat South Carolina. Without that Florida is nothing special. With that they can hang with almost anyone. Florida’s defense though through the first six games gave up 89 points and in the last three games have been strafed to the tune of 101 points. This needs to change...fast. Sure the offense has done more than their share to contribute to this recent regression as well.
I have two messages:
To the UF students: Get off your lazy asses and support your fellow students who are on the football team. Your pathetic lack of attendance has been staggering all season and it seemed only almost by force of the bayonet did you “wander” into the stadium for LSU giving the illusion of almost a sellout.
To the team: Show the same effort and attitude you did against LSU from here on out and you’ll finish the season strong. How could you not want to after the pitiful season you went through last year? Just know this guys: As lousy a season as FSU is having, you know which of their remaining games they worry about the least is? IT’S YOU!!! Yes, they worry more about Boston College than they do about playing you and you know what, it’s with good reason. Yesterday you looked like an uninterested, uninvolved bunch not caring about a thing.
