There seems to be a kind of "Trump is different therefore no accountability applies" reasoning going on with the "ignore him" and "if only the media wouldn't pay attention to him" line of thought. He is the President of the United States. The leader of the free world (well, maybe former leader of the free world). Ignoring him is not an option. It seems to me that the whole "ignore" mantra is nothing more than an attempted exercise in normalizing what is very abnormal. |
