Message Replied To ========== There was a balance to be struck. He didn't come close to striking it... It was over the top. There are only 9 seats on the SCOTUS. Nominees should be held to the absolute highest standards of conduct and behavior. Regardless of what did or didn't happen between Kavanaugh and Dr. Blasey-Ford, his conduct in the hearing should have been disqualifying. He apologized in the Wall Street Journal for his conduct for a reason or reasons. I hope it was sincere and that genuine regret was the ONLY reason for the apology, because he now has a lifetime appointment. But I suspect there were other reasons for the apology as well. One of which is named Jeff Flake. We will find out (or not) when the books are written. ============================== Vote me down, but this is a joke because I did not do it. That was pretty much his posture. The democrats created a circus from the outset, which gave credence to his outrage later. |
