that I appreciate everyone of you and the use of the board. I have learned a lot over the years and hope to learn more going forward. In recent days I have been thinking about the state of our politics in this country and even on this board at times. I strongly suspect that the vast majority of us would find we agree about a lot of items if we were discussing things in person. That is topics that came up naturally through the course of a conversation and not talking points or cues we get from the media and party leaders. I have noticed this in conversations with different people over the last several days that include, white men, black men, women etc.

If we are going to overcome this issue and help the country we have to quit letting the media and party leaders manipulate us into thinking the other side is completely evil and depraved. The politicians may be but I don't think we the people are......at least not the majority of us. We are being played and not just by trump. Does this mean I think we should all agree on everything? Absolutely not. We don't have to agree but we all don't have to be so inflexible in all of our ideals. There are some items that people will never compromise on, but we don't have to let that dominate our discussion with others IMHO. I am not asking anyone to act in any certain way or anything. Just some ramblings from someone who doesn't matter, and I fully realize I need to keep a check on myself in regards to all this too.
