Message Replied To ========== Unlike the Gators, UCF's out-of-conference schedule has teeth UCF schedules two Power-5 conference opponents each year. For the past 15 years, we have scheduled 29 of these teams including Miami (twice), Michigan, Missouri (twice), Ohio State, Penn State (three times!), South Carolina (three times!), Texas (twice), West Virginia, Wisconsin and Florida. Two years after Nebraska destroyed Florida in the Fiesta Bowl, the Knights went to Lincoln, Nebraska, and were whipping them until midway through the 3rd quarter. We are also undefeated against Alabama (can Florida claim that?) and we beat the 2nd best team in the SEC last year. We also beat Georgia in a bowl game a few years ago. The SEC doesn't scare us at all! We're the clearly best team in the state this year and you're reduced to pounding the table about schedule. Well, everyone is scared to play us. If they beat us, they "should have". If we win, then it's further proof that the system is broken. When is the last time you had an OOC schedule like the Knights?============================== |
