"Since taxes are paid by those that earned them, wouldn’t the huge transfer of wealth " |
|
Message Replied To ========== Did any company pass their tax savings to their employees this year? Any small raises given out have more to do with a tightening labor market than anything else.. Anyone who's sniffed a clue knows increase in tax receipts is due solely to deemed repatriation in TCJA. REAL wages remain stagnant, because the tax scam is one of the largest transfers of wealth to the 1% in our history. As IRS has not begun accepting returns for 2018, it's not likely individual filers would yet know if they have any savings. Any increase in take-home pay more than $15-20 per pay period is most likely produced by under-withholding. ============================== occur when the taxes are actually paid? I think a reduction in taxes reduces wealth transfer. I don’t understand the thinking that somehow government is entitled to earned wealth and anything they “allow” the earner to keep should be appreciated. |
