Message Replied To ========== The ugly truth. How many R's read, much less understood the bill? Reminds me of D's and ACA. . . . The tax cut was a Trump campaign promise and he delivered it. He sold it as necessary due to Obama "tanking the economy" which was a lie. You cut taxes, like Kennedy did, when the economy was in the dumps, NOT when it is stable/growing as it was in the last several years of the Obama terms. Trump threw some lighter fluid on a fire and gloated about how he built a huge fire, only problem is that there is nothing to support the huge flames and they die down. ==============================less than stellar results, but to remove itself to the extent possible, “get out of the way”. Why shouldn’t producers keep more of their productivity? Isn’t increased GDP considered a positive? |
