I am extremely proud of the 2003 Florida Gator Football TEAM. I'm not sure if I have ever been more proud of a Gator TEAM. To come back from 3-3 to Co-Champions of the SEC Eastern Division when many of us had given up on the season and their Coach. To face the adversity of the calls that were made Saturday and be down 17-6 at half time, it would have been easy to feel sorry for yourself and "mail it in". Not this TEAM! They fought through it, came back and had a chance to win the game. Despite the calls, it was one of the best football games I have ever experienced. It was a privilege to be in the stands for that game, to once again feel that atmosphere that is the Swamp. I regret, for both teams, that we are talking about the officials instead of the magnificent display of football that took place on Florida Field Saturday. One more thing, stop stomping on our F. I've got no problem with the TEAM defending it. I feel Coach Zook demonstrates and teaches such class that the Gators will not reciprocate next year when they beat the 'Noles in Tallahassee. If the Gators do stomp on their symbol of pride, I will be extremely disappointed. I'm proud to be a Florida Gator.
