He came in and everyone looked to him as our best player, but he NEVER played like the best player on our team out there. And the other guys, the ones carrying this team on their shoulders, also bought into the hype and looked to him for that role. But he wasn't that guy and the team didn't have the focus and leadership that role dictates. Now that role is where it rightfully belongs: with Peep, Walsh, and Lee. And the rest of the team is stepping up because they are looking to these three for their example, not the "potential lottery pick" who wasn't planning on staying very long (that's an understatement) and who was only looking out for himself. No way would ANY of these three act that way. They're all real leaders, guys the team can rally around and who won't then let anyone down. If we go down, we go down swinging from this point on. And if we win, we win as a team.
