I've had enough. I want some respect. I hope David Lee feels the same way. Since Sunday, everyone and their brother has been picking the trendy upset of the Jaspers over the Gators. What the hell?!?!?! If you take a random sample of the opinions of the talking heads in the media, chances are more people will pick the Jaspers than the Gators. Why?, because we've struggled lately in the tournament, and Kentucky pounded us twice in recent weeks. You know what? The Jaspers aren't Kentucky. Not even close. I really hope that our boys are motivated. They seem to be. They circled the wagons when Christian Crier left and they pulled their season from the fire. Now, when everyone is telling them that they can't, I hope that they use it to motivate them. They can. Clearly, they can. They are playing an undersized deep team from a Mid-Major with a great scorer. The Jaspers are the type of team that is tailor made to sneak up on someone in the Big Dance. But, thanks to the windbags of the world, they're not sneaking up on anyone! Instead, the reverse has happened. people EXPECT them to win against the ragtag Gators. Dammit, I've had enough. David Lee should take this personally. Peeps should take this personally. Adrian Moss should take this personally. Chris Richard and Bonell should take this personally. I want to see us pound these guys inside. Their largest player is 6'7. We did it to Alabama, we should do it to them. The hype this week should really help us. Not that we should need any extra motivation, but they've given us plenty. I want to see effort. I want to see focus. I want to see us up by 15 with 3 minutes left. I want CBS to be thinking of switching to other games. I want to see their analyst, Seth Whatshisname eat his words. I want some respect.
