YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN GOING ON FOR MONTHS ABOUT THIS BAR TOWEL CRAP. WHAT IN THE HELL IS THE DEAL HERE? WHAT AM I MISSING? BESIDES OF COURSE THE BAR TOWEL! Many, many, many months ago, a VS poster who shall remain nameless (... ...) posted a link to a Guiness site where you could request a free bar towel. The cheapos of the VS, always looking for a handout, jumped on this offer and gave their names, addresses, social security numbers, blood types, and PINs to the webmasters of said site. When, after many moons, no bar towels arrived, paranoia ran rampant. What were these people doing with our personal information??? Apparently, the VS was not the only board that had Bar Towel Fever, and Guiness was overwhelmed with requests. Finally, a few weeks ago, Guiness sent out postcards to the bar towel hopeful (or at least most of them) assuring them that their requests had not been forgotten. Now, only a few requesters (......) remain both postcard-less and towel-less. The rest of us have chosen to either (a) pity them or (b) ridicule them.
