Got the call last Tuesday, from his old UF boss under Spurrier, Tim Sain. Reports this Monday for pre-season workouts. 1st week in Tampa, next 2 weeks in Orlando at Disney complex, then back to Tampa for the the preseason and regulat season games. Will take his 2 finals early....this Friday in his prof's offices, then drive down to Tampa. Me and his mother had only one condition: that he MUST be allowed to come back to Gainesville Saturday, August 7th, to walk at graduation. Tim said no problem. Also, looks as if he will be the assistant equipment manager for the Amsterdam Admirals in NFL Europe from February to June. Just wanted to proudly share this, especially with those of you who have always supported Aaron these last 4 years at UF games. Many of you have said so many nice things to me about him, and I will always be mindful and grateful of that. I know that I haven't been posting much this summer, but I've been ill and recuperating from some minor surgery. Been feeling sort of puny, if you know what i mean. I'll try and do better. Anyway, I'm off to Gainesville Thursday to move his things back to Mims, as he will be at the team hotels for the next 6 weeks. I guess I'll be doing some double-duty this fall, Saturdays at the SWAMP and Sundays at Raymond James. Tough life.... Take care, everyone. Mims
