seems pretty great to me. I've been hiking and camping in the pristine forested national park just 20 miles south of here (where I was able to go 4 wheeling and take some target practice with some friend's rifles and pistols without anyone bothering us. I've been able to enjoy some good old fashioned Southern barbecue for the first time in over a year. There first football of the season is starting to appear on my new big screen TV. I got the gig I wanted with the company which was another step up and now puts me only one step away from the position I've been wanting and training for for 15 years (international corporate strategy director for Europe). I've experienced the wonderful open and remarkebly uncongested highways in a very pleasant August in my new Beemer convertible. I can go to the store whenever the hell I feel like it because its open 24 hours a day.
Other places have a lot to offer in terms of art and culture and history but I think people tend to take the opportunity and incredible convenience of life in America far too much for granted. Its good to be back.
