...many Gator fans immediately jumped Foley and Zook. Within weeks you had FRZ spring up and this board had quite a few people that didn't support Zook from the get go. I remember many discussions back then about people Foley should have hired. About halfway through the football season the name that kept surfacing was Ty WIllingham. Why? Because he came in right away at Notre Dame and started winning. He was the hottest coach in the country at the time. Kinda funny how nobody is mentioning him as a replacement these days. It seems that "up and coming" coaches are changing on a yearly basis. Which makes me wonder about Meyer. Sure, he's the hottest name in coaching these days, but is he just another coach who had early success but will turn out to be nothing but an above average coach? I guess only time will tell.

Oh, and for the recod, Zook's record is 20-13 and Willingham's record is 20-13 since they started at their current jobs.
