in the "other" sports. You do great. But FSU does pretty well too, relatively speaking.
But to claim that there is a huge interest in these sports on behalf of Gator fans is just incorrect. Interest? Sure, but like I said, if you all are so "into" those sports, why 1000 people at last night's WBB game?
I get it. "It" is you think you're better.
No, nole, you still don't get it, and you never will. "It" is we ARE better. On every single substantive, objective measure you can come up with, the University of Florida is better than fsu. USNews rankings? UF is better. Directors Cup standings? UF is better. SAT scores? UF is better. Facilities? UF is better. Alumni support? UF is better. I could go on and on and on.
Academically, there is no comparison at all. Yep, you have a couple of programs that can compete with or even surpass the quality of our programs in the same field. But, from top to bottom, on objective measures, UF outranks fsu in academics. Athletically, there is no comparison at all. Yep, you have a couple of programs that can compete with or even surpass on occasion the performance of our programs in the same sport. But, from top to bottom, on objective measures, UF outranks fsu in athletics.
We get better students. We attract better faculty. We have better coaches and better student-athletes. We perform better. Get over it, honey, we ARE better. I know it's impossible for you to admit, but it's true and it's recognized by every non-nole on the planet. If it bothers you so, why do you spend so much time on a Gator board, where your nose is inevitably rubbed in your school's inferiority on a regular basis?
