disagree with in Bush's presidency I am sure. It is the constant doom and gloom that permeates the posts of many here that just turns me off to anything they might post. I don't read most of them, I don't have to to know what the jist of post is. It is depressing POV and leads to nothing but smartass comments from both sides. When you make a post as an absolute such as "Another accurate and depressing read on the next four years" the chance for a conversation that actually explores alternate possibilities and opinions is over. All that happens is that sides are taken and opinions become galvinized because no one will ever admit they don't have a monopoly on the truth. This type of thread is what gives the Lounge a bad name among many of the people that are on the 3 boards that make up this community and why they don't come here and post.
