It was very interesting. Urban definitely has a "presence" and air of confidence. I can absolutely see him imposing his tough, positive minded influence upon the players. I have no doubt he is going to FEARLESSLY take on the SEC in 2005. This is not a man who will be intimidated and this will show in our play next year without a doubt. He is embracing the SEC tradition and I believe he will rule it.

The best thing was when he explained his "core values" that you don't break unless you want to pack your bags and head to that school out west.

1. Do not disrespect women...period.

2. Don't lie

3. Don't cheat

4. No drugs

No disrespect to Zook but this was a huge breath of fresh air. No stumbling, mumbling 1/2 @$$ second guessing answers.

Eric Sledge was there and Urban warned him to NEVER make Brandon Siler go through a drill twice or he will "bite your head off" evidently Brandon is taking on a leadership role and letting the team know about it.

Coach Strong was there and I spoke to him a bit. I am glad this guy is on our sidelines! He is smart, witty, tough and an awesome recruiter. Zook hung him out to dry until Strong finally got to run his defense against USC and f$u....see the results. He will attack, attack and attack again this year. Thank god.

Good stuff, like I said before, this year we will hit the ground running and get the swagger back. I can't wait.
