This will make me sleep better.  It'll also make me slam my head into the wall a few times.  There I was on the porch with the cordless drill thinking 'do I take these boards off all the windows now with considerable physical pain, or do I wait a few days to see what the next storm does?'  Stupid idiot.  Of course the next storm is coming here.  Where the hell else would it go?  When I put these boards back up, I'm going to strip the reverse off my drill.  So what if  can't get out the sliding glass door to grill anymore.  I can always go out the front door and around.  Unless I ask a neighbor to board that in too...and I may.  In that case, I may need help getting out from one of you people a few weeks after the storm.  Oh the hell with it, I have an axe in the garage...I'll just claim it as hurricaine damage.  Actually I may just chop my house down before the next storm hits just to spite it.  It can't get what I've already taken!  Anyone got some bricks I can throw at the windows?  Dammit, my cigarette lighter won't strike!  Is this gasoline full of water or something?
