A SUPER big  THANK YOU  to Mr. & Mrs. Albert for arriving early on Sat. setting up and hosting the VS tailgate.  Thanks to all and whoever else was involved in the set up & providing the chairs, bottle openers,  food, drinks and Jello shots!!    

I hope all of us "out-of-towners" told you enough times how much we enjoyed it and how much it means to us.  It really makes the game day experience much more special if we get to share it with fellow Gators (and Vols) from all over.  Great to see Albert & Mrs Albert, Babysis, Viking, Coach Tony, JimFun, BBG, DonnaD, Gardenvariety, Keyser, Mojo,    Jethro, and other Gators, Gator friends and families.  Everybody arrived and asked about the other posters, where they were, what they were doing, etc...   Shared beers and shots and jokes and thoughts about football and life (kids, investments, pets, books, work, whatever) I really enjoyed the time I got to spend there tremendously.  Thanks!!

 You know, This board / VS community is a funny thing.......

Until recently most of us had not met in person or maybe only met briefly once or twice. We primarily know each other from posting on the board and yet it seems, and I certainly feel like, I now have a ton of new Gator friends and more than ever now belong to a big Gator family. It is a great feeling and I am thankful that the internet,  the VS (and VS management) and posters have made this possible. I am looking forward to the opportunity in the future to tailgate with all my new Gator friends.  (See? The VS is more than just an opportunity to waste hours and hours every day!!) 

I ended up sitting with one of Alberts old college roommates. Because we have a friend in common, it made attending the game more comfortable and a lot more fun.  Also, as it turns out,  Albert, Mrs. Albert their friend F. and Babysis all attended UF at the same time as I did. Very Cool!!   (Fade In the Twilight Zone Theme - do-do-dodo-dodo-dodo-do )
