Reasons to take starters out early:

1. Game is out of reach
2. avoid unnecesary injuries to key players
3. Give backups and inexperienced players extensive playing time in a road, SEC game
4. Reward backups for their hard work and commitment to the team
5. Evaluate how players perform in game situations
6. Determine who is ready, who is not, and what they need to work on

Reasons to leave starters in the game:

1. You believe game is not out of reach
2. You are concerned with stats
3. You don't don't really believe you will need your backups so what's the point
4. PC Gator may criticize you if you take them out
