and as someone who is very well connected in the world of UF athletics, I have decided to offer up my 2006 Recruiting Evaluation.  I usually keep a low profile when it comes to recruiting, because quite frankly I am uncomfortable sharing much of the vast and extremely insider type information to which I am privy.  I feel like it is an abuse of the confidences available to me.  But this year, I have decided to take a different approach.

So now, for the very first time:

Mudlizard's Virtual Swamp presents Mudlizard's 2006 Pre-National Signing Day Recruiting Analysis:

All indications are that we will sign, what appears to be on paper, a very good class tomorrow.  We will sign quarterbacks, running backs, (several) wide receivers and a bunch of offensive lineman.  On defense, we will sign various players who will be able to play all the necessary positions.  It looks good folks.  Very good.

Now please note, some of these players will exceed expectations, and some will fall short.  Some may never even play a down for UF.  It's hard to tell which will fall into which category at this point in time.

But the bottom line on this class is, provided we continue to sign players each year,  we will be able to field what should be a very competitive team in the coming years.
