I mean, why does any paper still run Family Circus??  It is not funny in the least.  I actually cover it up with my hand while I'm reading the other comics just so I won't accidently read the caption (can't even call it a punchline, because it never ever makes me the least bit happier).  This comic is like someone's idea of a sick joke.  I think its like an old Andy Kaufmann routine, where the only one laughing was Andy himself because he pulled one over on the audience.  Somewhere Bill Keene is laughing himself silly thinking that people are actually subjecting themselves to reading his work.

I've written the AJC numerous times, but they don't seem to care.  I've thought about cancelling the paper, but then what would I put in those recyclable boxes??
