So many moments last night. Many will fade. These will stick:
The feeling I got when I saw how much orange and blue was in the stands....
Joakim blocking UCLA's first shot....
The immediate realization that our boys were far from intimidated as they jumped out to a 11-5 lead.......
The look of unadulterated joy on the face of Cory Brewer the entire game....
The pride I felt when they showed the crowd back at the O Dome.....
The look on the face of Bill Walton....
Only six turnovers - unbelievable.....
Rick Pitino's show of support for Billy D....
Seeing all five of our boys in a good defensive stance with less than five minutes to go....
Billy's ultimate goodness shining through in the post-game press conference....
Stepping outside myself to try to appreciate how great it felt to share multiple champagne toasts with good friends when it was over...
Thank you Gators. My favorite team ever. Damn, I am so proud.
Florida, our Alma Mater,
thy glorious name we praise.
All thy loyal sons and daughters,
a joyous song shall raise.
There palm and pine are blowing,
where southern seas are flowing,
Shine forth thy noble gothic walls,
thy lovely vine clad halls.
Neath the orange and blue victorious,
our love shall never fail.
There's no other name so glorious,
all hail, Florida, hail!
