"Congratulations Gators."

Time to step up and take it like a man. Congratulations on a solid game plan and implementing it. Had Grossman played every game like this, I don't think you'd have a loss, and I include Miami in that list. Your wide receiver blocking was an absolute key in this game; had we broken that screen down early I think the game might have been different. I make no excuses for missing starters. Part of being a championship team is having substitutes step up at key times, and ours just didn't. Your receivers, on the other hand, stepped up brilliantly for the loss of Jacobs. We also had our share of errors that could have turned the game around - most notably, the penalty on the 1 that turned a TD into a FG, and Foster's inexcusable act of poor sportsmanship. For those of you who are older Gator fans and remember the misery that UGA heaped on you all those years before Spurrier, you have paid us back in full. This hurts worse than any loss since 1992, and is probably the worst loss to UF in program history because it stopped an undefeated season. Now I know what 1980 would have felt like without Belue to Scott. Go ahead and enjoy it. I know I would in your shoes. I am not going to tell you that we will rise again, I won't tell you that we're on the way back, I won't tell you anything except that dammit, you own us, and I hope we can get that turned around SOMETIME before I die. I would ask you to wish us luck against Ole Miss and Auburn but I don't want you to kill yourselves laughing. Again, good plan, good game, and congratulations. Dammit. SFATM
